

Sharon Kay Fritch was born on January 15, 1942 in Hastings, Nebraska. On December 19, 2022 at age 80, Sharon passed away after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents James R. Chase, Sr., Wanda E. Chase, and her sister Bonnie Minear.
Sharon was a long-term resident of Ojai, California and graduated from Nordoff High School. She was a devout Christian and accepted the Lord when she was just 3½ years old. She was a Job’s daughter as a young lady and served the church in many capacities. Her faith was strong throughout her life and got her through many of life’s challenges.
She had many talents, among which was crocheting, she crocheted scarves and hats for the homeless and infant hats for the local hospital.
Sharon was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Survived by her three children Deborah Jones, Terri Myers, and Stephen Fritch (daughter in law Celia Fritch), her brother James R. Chase, his wife Linda Chase, sister Angela Stephens, her husband Doug Stephens. Sharon has five grandchildren Michael Merrill, Elycia Myers, Christina Trujillo, Corey Myers, and Joseph Jones and three great grandchildren.
Sharon loved to entertain and cherished the time she shared with family, she has four nieces and two nephews that she was close to. She was a very special lady who didn’t always have it easy. She raised three children on her own and was the best mother and father that three kids could ever have. She had an extremely high work ethic and worked hard her entire life. She will be sadly missed.
Mommy we love you so much and you will never be forgotten. There is never enough time!
