Susan "Susie" Frances Salazar

Susan Frances Salazar (Susie) was blessed with 95 wonderful years here with us. On the afternoon of Sunday, March 13, 2022, she went to be with so many loved ones that passed away before her. Susie was born on November 28, 1926 to Sabas and Isabel Cervantez.

You could always find our fiery, little redhead enjoying the warm sunshine and listening to her AM/FM radio with her Spanish music playing out in her garage. Susie loved shopping trips and going out to lunch. Vince's, Carrows, Pollo Bravo, and then later, Tlaquepaque, were just a few of her favorites. She loved family functions and getting our to visit with everyone at birthday parties, family reunions, and Easters at Steckel Park.

Living such a long and beautiful life, Susie has seen so many loved ones go before her. Her parents, some of her siblings, her daughters Dolores Molina and Cecelia Vela, nieces and nephews, and lots of beloved friends. Susie is survived by her daughters, Rosie Ramirez, Delfie Johnson, Annette Baca (Toby), and Deborah Salazar; her 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren, 3 siblings, Johnny Cervantez (Lola), Lori Rodriguez, and Jenny Huerta.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 1st, 11am at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery. A celebratory reception will follow.
