Thomas Torres Ramirez

Tom was born in Santa Paula March 13th, 1947 and grew up in Ventura. He graduated from Ventura High and received his welding certification from Ventura College. Tom was a great welder/mechanic who had to retire early because of various health issues. He very much enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his daughter, family and friends. Tom was married to his soulmate and love of his life Michele for 38 amazing years. He was always so very proud of his daughter Victoria, he loved them both with all his heart. Tom found a renewed love of God and peace within himself through Alcoholics Anonymous. He was proud of being clean and sober the last 35 years of his life. Tom never knew a stranger, he was always making friends anywhere he went. He always had a big smile and a joke or humorous tale ready to make you laugh.

His memorial will be held at Funeraria Del Angel, 128 S. 8th St. Santa Paula, CA 93060, January 30th, 2020, 4-8pm rosary at 7pm, (805) 525-5595. Please come and share memories and dress comfortably.
