Violet Ann Curtis

Mrs. Curtis was born June 10, 1942 in Pampa, Texas to Roy Foster and Donna Dezern.

On June 20, 1958, Violet married the love of her life, John M. Curtis and at the age of 16, they began their family. Violet was a homemaker raising 7 kids most of her life until all 7 grew up. She began to work at the school district where she retired.

She is survived by her children Debra Curtis of Ojai, John Curtis of Ojai, Joann Medrano (Alex) of Indiana, Jimmy Curtis of Wyoming, Raymond Curtis of Camarillo, Tom Curtis (Sara) of Florida, and Tammy Curtis Edwardson (Waymond) of Oxnard; her brothers Jerry Foster (Barbara) of Bakersfield and Ronnie Foster (Cheryl) of Fillmore. Violet was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and recently blessed as a great-great-grandma with Baby Gianna.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John M. Curtis, her parents Roy and Donna, and great-granddaughter Karmela.

Violet will be missed by all of her family and friends.
