Mr Taylor I learned one big great lesson in life from you and has made me the person I am today I thank you and I always think of you and the lessons I learned from you as I was a kid you and Ms Fauver. I didnt know you where still around I would of loved to talk to you. thank you for everything I will always remeber you mr. Taylor!  1977

Walt: My first principal!  Will always remember our first meeting in the spring of 1970 when I had applied for a teaching position  at Sespe. You took the time to take me around the school and explain where everything was. 
Met with the 5th grade chairman. It was great. Soon after that, you hired me to teach 5th grade. My first job in Fillmore. I'll always remember your positive manner in and outside of the classroom. You were always there for me if I had a problem. Joyce and I will miss you and that special smile!

Rita and I are saddened by Walt's passing but I have wonderful memories of being part of Catalina Fleet One and enjoying many happy sailing adventures in company with Walt. I enjoyed Walt's humor and remain amazed at his knowledge on so many subjects. I have known Walt for 20 plus years and I will miss him but know I can always visit with him through my memories. Thanks for being a part of my life and teaching me so much. Our prayers go out to Myrna and her family.

My dad, Leo Robbins, loved Walt and they had such a good time together with Chuck Miller refurbishing Sea Mews. Myrna, my deepest condolences to you and your family. It has been an honor to know your both through the Sailing Club and to be on trips with you to the Channel Islands, to be at breakfast with you before the club meetings and to be at meetings with you and Walt. His stories are legendary and he always had a kind word and wisdom to add. With fond memories, you are in my heart.

Myrna and Family. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of such a wonderful man. I know that you will miss Walt and hearing his voice and all the trips you both have taken. I know that you are a strong person and as time goes by things may get a little bit better. You let me know if there is anything I can do to help with anything. May God watch over you always.

We were tourists from New Zeaand who had the immense pleasure of Walt's company when he and his dear friend Chuck took us out sailing . It was the highlight of our 16 week trip - just being in the company of these two men who were such warm loving friends - they were almost telepathic in their 
actions on board and being in their company was SO special. Thankyou Walt
for extending the hand of friendship to two Kiwi's ( New Zealanders). We will never forget meeting you and extend our love to your family and of course to Chuck. You will be greatly missed.  Trish and Mike Topham, Hastings, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand.

I remember you as a great sailor. Especially the sailing with you and Chuck and Collette Miller in the Sraits of Juan De Fuca in Washington in Catalina 22s.

We are better persons just in having known you. Thank you for your life long friendship. We will see you on the other side!

Walt was not an "office" principal. He was out and about with the kids and their  smiles, calls and greetings, "Hi Mr. Taylor" rang up and down the halls. 
 San Cayetano was "The School that Walt Built."

I will never forget what you did for me as one of your teachers, your kindness when I was widowed, and just being a great friend. You meant so much to me and my family.I will never forget you.

Walt, you were a great man, and a fine, fine human being!  I remember you taking me pheasant hunting back in the winter of 1970-71, something I hadn't done up til then, and never since!  One of my best and lasting memories!  Godspeed, my friend...
