Diane will be deeply missed! Over the past 25 years, she has been the most loving and caring neighbor. I will miss her funny stories as well as watching her take care of the neighborhood feral animals. She would talk to them, feed them, call them by name and they would listen! We actually witnessed her talk to a opossum that wandered into the garage and was hiding. She told him it was time to leave and he walked out! She truly was a special woman and my heart is saddened by the loss of such a wonderful friend and neighbor.

Such a lovely picture of Diane. Thank you so much Wally, Howie, Debbie, and Lisa. I can tell you where and when it was taken - January 11, 2003 at Marbella Country Club in San Juan Capistrano, CA. I know this because I recognize that it was taken at Barbara and my wedding reception. I would love to get a copy, if possible.

I met Diane 30 years ago when I began playing with the Cypress Pops Orchestra. We clicked almost instantly, I think, due to our similar wry senses of humor. We would "taunt" each other to the point that some other musicians thought I hated her. FAR, FAR from that. Barbara and I adopted Bill and Diane as our parents and enjoyed many dinners after concerts and for many holidays and birthdays. We even got invited to family events when Diane's East Coast children/grandchildren came out to visit California. Diane was my confidant and trusted advisor. We had some pretty serious discussions on the many drives when I would chauffer her to rehearsals and those God forsaken early morning church services. I will miss her desperately but will also cherish the memories of our 30-year relationship. Oh, just to hear her complain one more time about being picked up at 6:30am!

I have a lot of fond memories of Diane and couldn’t imagine a better great grandmother for Liam. My thoughts are with everyone during this difficult time.

I loved and enjoyed my Grandma Diane very much. She loved church pipe organs, orchestra music, cats, dogs, and other animals. I will greatly miss her.
