Alton Spence Beck

Alton Spence Beck – a 77 year-old longtime resident of Saraland passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. Mr. Beck retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of service as a clerk. Mr. Beck, a longtime Mason, was a past master of Bowen Lodge No. 240 F&AM. He is survived by his children, Randy Beck (Kristi) and Rex Beck (Laura); sister, Eloise Beck Holton; grandchildren, Scott Beck (mina), Brandon Beck (Lauren), and Brett Beck (Karen); great-grandchildren, Alina Beck, Easton Beck, and Madison Beck; step-grandchildren, Tara and Sean; step-great-grandchildren, Alex and Landon; other relatives and friends. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staffs of Gentiva Hospice and the staff of Mobile Nursing and Rehabilitation, especially Brenda Allen and Shrelle Curry. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 17, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
