Alton was a resident of Saraland, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bracey and Ruth Yarber; bonus son, Kevin; sister, Kathy Lee; and brother, Jimmie Yarber.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean; sons, David
( Katrina), John ( Monica) and bonus son, Willis; daughter, Shellye; 16 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a retired Ironworker of many years, Local 798. He loved to fish, hunt, and watch the Alabama and Braves game. He received Jesus as his Savior and is now in His Arms. Alton is at peace, with no pain, living in the place where Jesus prepared for him.
A visitation will be held on October 6, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm. A committal service will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, located at 10000 Celeste Rd, Saraland, AL 36571.
