Charlotte, this is Muffin Ellzey, and I just heard you lost your precious Nece. I am so very sorry to hear this devastating news and want you to know my thoughts are with you. She meant so much to me and was one of my best friends in high school. Forty yrs later I can still hear her laugh and see her sparkling life-filled eyes. She made everyone feel they were so special to her, and I am honored to have had her as my friend. Please know she touched so many people. You were a wonderful mother, and I remember your patience and kindness during all the hormonal girl drama. Nece adored you.
My respect and sincere thoughts are with you,
Muffin Ellzey Parker

I remember meeting up with Neci as kids and we would go to the Civic Center, ride bikes and hang out at Amelia Park. I also remember when Valerie was born taking Neci a gift for her new baby. Later Neci sent me a photo of her new baby in the outfit.

Prayers for you Valerie and your family.
