Arela L Deakle

Arela Lee Deakle of Satsuma, Alabama, passed on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the age of 78. Arela was born on Thursday, October 24, 1940, to Betty Winkler and Adolphus West. She was born and raised in Oklahoma until she joined the United States Navy. Arela served in the Navy from May 4, 1959 to June 22,1961 and met her husband of 36 years, Calvin Deakle during this time.

She is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Crenson Deakle, sister Judy Tiner and brother Richard West.

Arela is survived by her children; Chuck Deakle, Jeff (Sherri) Deakle, Laurie Deakle. Sisters; Pat (John) Cargile, Norma West. Grandchildren; Candice Deakle, Joshua Deakle, Cheyenne Stone, Wayne Lynch, Ciara Deakle, Jacie Deakle, Calvin Deakle. Great Grandchildren; Samantha Lanier, Dakota Lanier, Morgan Deakle, Aaron Deakle, Henley Stone and Hayden Stone. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A visitation for Arela will be Friday, August 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606.
