Mr. Aubrey Gene Wilson, age 74, longtime resident of Saraland, AL, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019. Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Wilson Jacobs, sisters, Faye Platz and Patsy Eastham. Mr. Wilson was a Maritime Merchant Seaman since the early age of 16. He retired after over 20 years of service. He travelled the world, experiencing places that most of us have never had the opportunity to see. Those travels brought many stories that he enjoyed sharing with family and friends. He attended Celebration Church. Mr. Wilson is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Earline Dykes Wilson. He is also survived by his daughter, Rebecca Christine Davis and grandsons; Michael Anthony Davis and Wesley Aaron Davis. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, January 10, 2019 beginning at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to express their appreciation to Covenant Care Hospice for the loving care shown to Mr. Wilson.
