Betty Jean Dickson

Betty Jean Dickson, a lifelong resident of Satsuma, AL. died peacefully in her home at the age of 84 on June 24, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was carried away in the arms of Angels after a long battle with cancer. Betty was a woman of deep faith, a homemaker who spent her life caring for her family. With an incredible kindness and a sense of humor that would have you laughing until you cried, she left a lasting impression on everyone she ever meet. She loved Western movies but most importantly, she loved and admired the time she got to spend with her kids, grandkids and sisters. Betty is preceded in death by her husband Harry V, Dickson. Survived by three children; Johnny (Teresa) Stewart, Lynn (Richard) Thomas, Mark (Susan) Dickson, grandkids, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wed. June 28, 2017 from 6-8pm and Thurs. June 29, from 10-11:30am at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland AL. Graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 10000 Celeste Rd. Saraland, AL. a Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 12pm.The family would like to extend their gratitude to Kindred Hospice of Mobile for their support in her final days and to Vera Angell for being right by the families side.
