Mrs. Bettye J. Foltz

Mrs. Bettye J. Peden Foltz of Creola, AL died peacefully at her home in Ft Morgan on Monday, June 7, 2010 following a brief illness. She was born September 27, 1931 in depression era rural Neshoba County, MS in a log cabin. She moved to Chickasaw with her parents, David & Iva Dean Peden during the shipbuilding days of WW II and attended Murphy High School. She retired from Scott Paper Co and spent her retirement years as a loving and caring wife & mother, gardening, and caring for her cats. She is survived by her husband and soul-mate of 47 years, Jim Foltz. She also leaves to cherish her memory three loving children, Theresa Diane (Al) Sawyer, Linda Gail Greene, and J. Keith (Sheila) Greene, special nephew Kyle Peden, one brother, Ronnie Peden, three grandsons, Timothy (Tim & Donna) Bush, James (Jimbo) Bush, and Hunter K. Greene.; three great-grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Bush, Derek Dewayne Bush, and Dustin Blake Bush. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 12, 2010, from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home.
