Bonnie R. Lummus Taylor, a native of Prichard, Al, and a resident of Chunchula, AL, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her home. She was 56 years old, a homemaker, a loving mother and loving grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching television and talking on the telephone. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Earline Ross, her grandson Willie Wesley Eggers and her beloved husband, Morris Berry Taylor, Sr. Survivors include five loving children,Bonnie Jean (Joseph) Taylor White, Phillip Morris (Patricia) Taylor, Naman Thomas (Michelle) Taylor, Karen E Taylor (Gerald W. Turner, Sr.), Morris B (Erika) Taylor, Jr.; one sister, Mary Lummus; one brother, Thomas Lummus; 11 precious grandchildren; two devoted friends, James Banks and Detta Campbell, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral home on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 10 AM.. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 PM Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Byrd Cemetery.
