Bowen Christopher Taylor

Mr. Bowen “Bo” C. Taylor – born Aug. 18, 1931 in Souwilpa, AL and died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 in a local hospital. Mr. Taylor was a longtime resident of Mobile, AL and a resident of Lucedale, MS for the past 28 years. He was a member of Shadow Lawn Baptist Church. SFC Taylor served in the US Army in the occupation of Germany during WWII. Mr. Taylor also was the founder and owner of George County Electric in Lucedale, MS. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Eula Faye Taylor; and two brothers, Fred A. and Rev. Walter Lamar Taylor. He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Faye (Gary) Stowe of Mobile, AL and Janet Lee (Robert) Berry of Denham Springs, LA; two sons, Richard W. Taylor and Wendall K. Taylor both of Lucedale, MS; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016 at Shadow Lawn Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the church.
