Brenda Diane White Gordon, age 70, of Saraland, Alabama, entered the gates of Heaven on May 11, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family who rejoiced and thanked the Lord for her as she made her journey. Born in Mobile, Alabama, on February 13, 1951, Brenda was a lifelong member of the United Pentecostal Church. She served in many roles over the years, including Secretary to Superintendent Charles E. Calk and Youth Leader to many who treasured her good, fun-loving nature. During the last few years, Brenda became a part of the church family at More Life United Pentecostal Church.
Brenda was a happy, kind, and gracious lady who made friends very easily and never met a stranger. Through her grace, faith, and bright personality, she touched the lives of all she met and shared the Gospel in word and deed. She was a Godly encouragement to her family and friends and always wore a smile.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamar Webster and Tommie Muriel White; grandchildren, Hannah Diane Day and another Angel Baby; brother, Robert Lamar White; sisters, Alice White Entrekin and Tommie Jean White Molsbee.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Wayne Gordon, of over fifty years; her daughters, Deidra Diane (Sam) Day and Dina Denise (Bill) Johnson; six grandchildren Collin Samuel Day, Justin David Day, Caitlin Nicole Leimenstoll, Nathaniel Matthew Leimenstoll, Lauren Grace Day, and Timothy Mitchell Leimenstoll; brothers, Larry Webster(Kelli) White, Harvey Lee (Janice) White, and James Lavell (Paula) White; sisters Debra Muriel White (Mike) Sullivan and Angela Darlene White Hudson; many cherished nieces and nephews and multitude of dear friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 14, 2021, at Radney’s Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. and on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. at More Life United Pentecostal Church at 12471 Creel Road in Grand Bay, Alabama with Funeral Service being held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saraland, Alabama.
