Mrs. Carol Boland Davenport, a native of Brewton, AL and longtime resident of Satsuma, AL, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George Paul Davenport. Mrs. Davenport was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Satsuma and was a volunteer at Lee Elementary School. She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Paula Henderson (James) and Kelly Peters (Ken). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paul Henderson (Allie), Lacy Watkins (John), Claire Easley (Cody), Carly Peters, brother-in-law Ralph Davenport, sister-in-law Pauline Hartman, special nieces Diane Brown, Angie Miller and other beloved nieces, nephews and family members. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home Saraland, AL on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens, Mobile, AL. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL.
