On March the 29th, in the year, 1947, Mrs. Cecelia Kay Johnson entered this life and began her seventy-eight year journey and on September the 14th, 2025, she ended that journey here on Earth, and began her eternal life in Heaven. She loved and was loved by many, but most important, she loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and served Him faithfully during the course of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband; John A. Johnson, Sr., her parents; Charles and Lillian Miller, a sister; Mrs. Bonnie McDonald, and a sibling she never met, Baby Miller.
She is survived by her son; John (Brenda) Johnson, Jr. of Bay Minette, Alabama, two sisters; Mrs. Judy Poston of Bay Minette, Alabama, and Mrs. Cheryl (Joe) McGraw of Citronelle, Alabama, one brother; Wayne (Elaine) Miller of Creola, Alabama, one grandson; Nathan Thompson of Bay Minette, Alabama, and her furry "grandbaby" as she called him, Bandit, of Bay Minette, Alabama, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces, friends and other relatives that were a part of her life also and will deeply miss her.
A special thanks to all of those who took care of her in the last years of her life in Pensacola. Always know that she greatly appreciated each and every one of you.
Her homegoing service will be on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10am, at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, with a visitation one hour before at 9am. Mrs. Ellen Lesley will officiate the funeral, with burial to follow at Creola Cemetery in Creola, Alabama.
Pallbearers for her homegoing services will be: Nathan Thompson, Sean McDonald, Wayne Miller, Jr., Shannon Miller, Ben Hurn, and Dawson Hurn. Honorary pallbearers will be Cale McGraw and Cole Reeves.
