Charles Holley Moses, age 88, of Saraland, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025. He was born on May 19, 1937, in Brewton, Alabama and graduated from Vigor High School in 1956. As a young man, Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Saudi Arabia, serving 12 years. Mr. Charles was known for his love of fishing, woodworking, and many other hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife, Betty Doris Moses; his parents, Charles Aaron and Pearl Mae Kuhn Moses;and his two sisters, Adonna Penrod and Louellen Howell.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Charles Ray Moses (Brenda), Anita Dorene Pace (Nelson), Melinda Kim Brown, Billie Jo Pugh and Chanda Bridgett Moses (Taleb); 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, also, survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Affectionately known as Mr. Moses, Dad and Paw-Paw. Charles leaves behind a legacy of love, service and cherished memories that will live on in the heart of those who knew him.
Visitation for Charles will be held at Radney Funeral Home – Saraland, on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm . Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, Alabama.
