Clara Virginia Long Hambrick – Born May 24, 1932 in Georgia, and a resident of Whistler, AL died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at home. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Wright. Survivors include her loving husband, Arvel Roosevelt Hambrick; three sons, Ricky (Teresa) Hambrick, Gary (Pam) Hambrick and Roger Hambrick; two daughters, Jacqueline McDowell and Joyce Hambrick Frazier; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday, March 14, 2011 at 12:00 noon from the Pentecostals of Saraland, 626 Celeste Rd., Saraland, AL. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
