Clarence Melvin Hudson – a 75 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away on April 21, 2010. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he retired from civil service as an electronics technician after many years of service. Mr. Hudson is survived by his friend and the love of his life, Gladys Byers; two sisters, Irene Mason and Martha Ann Brock-Robinson (Mike); three brothers, Ralph Rogers Hudson (Ann), Rusty Newell (Jo), and James Newell (Vickie); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, April 26, 2010, at 12 noon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 25, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in the Wilson Annex of Whistler Cemetery.
