Claude Daniel Weaver

Claude Daniel Weaver – a 64 year-old native of Washington County, AL and resident of Saraland passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015. He retired from the Iron Workers Union Local 796, and was a longtime member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and a local mystic society.

Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents, George David and Ida Johnston Weaver. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Shirley Debra Weaver; daughters, Stephanie Mayers and Leslie Toomey (Ronnie); grandchildren, Stephen Mayers, Jr. (Shelby), Sean Mayers, Jason Logan Shereck, and Tiphanie Shereck; great-granddaughter, Skylar Mayers; sisters, Delores Dobbs, Mary Weaver; brothers, Billy Weaver (Clem), and Harmon Weaver (Joyce); many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from Mt. Moriah Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Tuesday, June 30, from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
