Claude Ray Wiggins, age 69, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Sunday August 5, 2018. Claude was born September 3, 1948 in Mobile, Alabama to Fannie Wiggins and Horace Wiggins.
Claude is survived by his wife, Wanda Wiggins; children, Mechelle Land, Scottie Chappell, Stacy Straub, Michelle Wiggins Hollinghead, Joe Chappell, and Jamie Chappell; grandchildren, Zachery Elrod, Caleb Schedule, Ethan Chappell, Taylor Chappell, Bella Hollinghead, Addi Hollinghead, Brody Chappell; and siblings, Alton Wiggins, Shirley Waters, Betty Nichols, and Buddy Wiggins.
Claude was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Fannie Wiggins.
Claude was a hard worker and loved his family and fishing. He was generous and kind, honest and caring. Claude will be remembered for his sense of humor and loving spirit.
A visitation for Claude will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy, Saraland, Alabama 36571. A funeral service will occur Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens, 8730 Sims Rd, Eight Mile, Alabama 36613.
