Clayton Robert Mayo

Mr. Clayton R. Mayo, longtime resident of Theodore, AL, passed away at his home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father, Grover Mayo and brother, Rodney Register. He was employed with Asphalt Services for several years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking , Nascar, and was an avid Alabama football fan. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Ryals Mayo and daughter Kelsey Slater, son, Kyndal Slater, granddaughter, Leah Tillman and his precious puppy Sassy. He is also survived by his mother, Lorraine Taylor, sisters, Sonya Howard (Bill), Penny Farish, brother, Cliff Register (Dianna) and many other family members and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, AL on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
