Mr. Clifton Thomas, age 76 of Saraland, AL, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Mr. Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Janice Bush Thomas, sons, Michael and Jeff and great-grandson, Jayden Helveston. Mr. Thomas retired from Scott Paper Company as a foreman after thirty five years of service. He served his country honorably in the United States Marines during the Vietnam Era. His favorite pastime was fishing. Mr. Thomas is survived by his children, Danny Thomas, Matt Thomas (Allison) and Tina Turner (Mark). He also leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Bea and Evelyn, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, Alabama from 2:00 p.m until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2014. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
