I didn’t know you very long. But you were always so easy to talk to and kind. My husband loved you and you meant a great deal to him. You were gone too soon and my heart aches for the Skelton clan. 

Cody was the first of our 11 kids to help create Happy Times Day Care!  We kept him from infant to school age.  He was my sidekick!    One day Cody was telling me a story about a doullie.  I quickly asked him "what's a doullie?"  He responded "you don't know what a doullie is?"  I said no... he said it's a "truck with lights on the top."  I asked his dad  when he to pick him up  what a doullie was?  He said in the same voice "you don't know what a doullie is?"  I laughed!  Scott went on to say it was a truck with two wheels on the back!  I told him what Cody had told me and he laughed and said most of them have lights on the top!  He was around three years old.   He was the sweetest little boy and I know he had to have had a wonderful life!  I love the time I had with Cody and hope to see him again!  My prayers are for Scottie and Diane and his family.

I’m thinking back on the times we worked together and hung out, and there isn’t a single memory of you without a smile on your face or making me laugh. To say you will be missed is an understatement. 

My prayers and constant thoughts are with you all.  This family is an awesome family. Words cannot described the admiration I have for the Shelton family! 

Cody,  I pray you are now in blessed hands of God.  However, you were fortunate to be in the most blessed hands here on earth with Bill and Mary.  The love I have seen these two people extend to others is beyond any I have known. Your time with them  will always be precious.  

I pray constant for their hearts to heal as with Scotty and the rest of your family.  I know one thing. You were loved.  You will be loved now with our Heavenly Father. 

I extend my many years of love and heartfelt sympathy to a family I have loved  for a long time.  May God and His love  strengthen each moment to heal for now.

God rest your sweet soul in peace now knowing you were loved here and His angels always hold you!

Cody, I didn't know you well and I'm ashamed I didn't. I thought I'd have time and get the chance. You are family and I should have made more of an effort. I do know you came from a fine upstanding family a good strong branch of our family tree. Scotty,  Josh, Aunt Mary and Uncle Bill you are in my thoughts. I pray you all summon the strength you need to get through this. We love you very much. Rest with God Cody.

Scott and Diana and family, please accept my deepest sympathy. God give you strength and comfort. You were wonderful neighbors and so kind during the last illness of my late husband Bobby Barnes. I am so sorry.
