Connie Davis Lane, age 76 resident of Turnerville, Alabama passed away on October 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jeff Lane, mother, Margaret Mims, father Mark "ML" Davis and many dearly loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Connie was born in Citronelle to Mark "ML" Davis and Margaret Stagner Mims on March 14, 1950. She was a graduate of Citronelle High School. She married the love of her life Jeff Lane on March 6, 1971. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and Aunt Connie to the whole community. No one ever left her home hungry, unloved or uninformed. There are not enough words to describe how special she was to anyone that ever had the privilege of calling her "Aunt Connie".
Connie is survived by her brother, Gary Wayne Davis, Sr. (Pat), her children, Stace (Boo), Kara(Eddie), GW (Kim) and Jennifer (Brad). Grandchildren Alec, Brittany, Ethan, Connor, Aubrey, Emma and Paige, special aunts Pat Sims, Ann Stagner, Debbie Colbert and uncle Charlie Stagner, her special niece and "our" family PR representative, Daphne Shelton, many cousins and friends also survive her and will miss her greatly.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Saraland on Monday, October 26, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Marc Hobbs and Keith Brannan officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Mobile Infirmary for the care of their loving mother.
Serving as pallbearers will be Barry Stagner, Rob Brannan, Benny Newburn, Todd Stagner, "Chopper" Stagner, "Fatjack" Pierce and Brandon Stagner.
