Conrad Leigh Turner, age 81, died on Friday June 28, 2013, was born in Prichard and was a lifelong resident of Creola/Axis. He served in the United States Air Force, starting at age 15. He served as a Military Policeman. Mr. Turner was a retired operator from International Paper. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Clara Walker Turner and his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his wife Doris Turner and children, Terry Turner(Patti), Sheila Sheffield(Wayne), Phil Cooper(Tammy), Matt Cooper(Janel), Mark Cooper(Stacey) and Lynn Montalbon(Tim); 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10 AM. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Creola Cemetery.
