Dana Wyn Todd - age 57, a resident of Mobile, AL, passed away Tuesday morning, May 31, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Todd and his precious son, Paul. He is survived by his dear mother, Mary Todd of Chickasaw, AL. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife and best friend, Jeanette, who so tenderly and affectionately cared for him. They were the loves of each other's lives for 10 years; his son, Nicholas Todd, who was his heart; his step-sons, Damon Lane and Brandon Bell, who he loved; twin sister, Donna Head; brothers, Cary (Rita) Todd, Lanny (Melanie) Todd; mother-in-law, Juanita (Jimmy) Travis; father-in-law, William (Nell) Bradley; grandchildren, Madison and Kaitlyn Todd, Chase Rowland, Sean Hammac, Presley and Trayton Lane, Jiles Bell and Kalie Garner; lots of nieces and nephews and so many family and friends. Dana was an avid Alabama football fan, "ROLL TIDE ROLL", and his best friend "Booger" was his beloved pet. He enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, music and evenings on the front porch. He lived life to the fullest.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2011, at 2:00pm from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon prior to services. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lanny Todd, Cary Todd, Nicholas Todd, Andrew Travis, Daniel Head and Graham Todd. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Beaver, Tony Beaver, Arthur Knowles, Thomas Sanchez, Jason Gibson and Brette McDonald. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Sherri Arledge, Kim, and all the staff at SCC, Urology and Oncology, Kenneth E. Elingwood and Staff, the nurses on 4th floor at Mobile Infirmary , the McDonough family, and a special thank you to the Jerry Byrd family and all the employees and staff of Byrd Surveying. Dana, you are and always will be the love of my life, you gave me the best 10 years of my life, and I am going to miss you very much. "I LOVE YOU DANA."
