

Darrell was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 30, 1967 to Beulah Belle Dufour and John Clement Dufour. He graduated from Satsuma High School in 1985.
He worked in IT for the majority of his career, volunteered as a youth football coach and was elected president of the youth football league of Satsuma, Alabama. He also coached in Saraland, Alabama.
He served his country in the Army from 1986-1992. While in the Army, he was stationed in Germany and was there during the fall of the Berlin Wall. He helped develop the Hawk missile systems.
He also met his wife, Carolyn Lee Griffith-Dufour, during that time in Europe. He married Carolyn on June 30th 1990 on the beach in Massachusetts. They went on to have 4 children. They were married 35 years.
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents Beulah Belle Monk-Dufour and John Clement Dufour as well as his younger sister Jennifer Jo Henderson.
Darrell is survived by his wife, as well as his 4 children: Kaitlin Dufour, Dara Dufour, Elizabeth Dufour and Darrell “Lee” Dufour, Jr.
He is also survived by his older brother, Johnny Dufour and older sister Paula Dufour.
The family wishes to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation for everyone that was involved in Darrell’s life. We thank you for loving him just as much as we did. He will be greatly missed.
He will be cremated and his ashes spread into the Gulf via his family and close friends
