David Ricky Champion, 67, was born on July 30, 1954 in Mobile, Alabama to Lester Coleman and Sue Kennedy Champion Flint. He passed away on August 16, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. David loved spending time in the great outdoors and in the woods.
David was preceded in death by his father, Lester Champion, one daughter, Kristi Champion; three brothers: Roger Champion, Larry Champion, Kenney Champion; one step-son, Michael Champion; and one nephew, Rodney Champion.
Left to cherish David’s memories will be his mother, Sue Champion Flint; one brother, Scotty Champion, one sister-in-law, June Champion, along with extended family members and a host of friends.
The family will be accepting guests for visitation on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama.
Interment will be held privately under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Parkway, Saraland, Alabama 36571 on the grounds of the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, Alabama.
