Mr. Flint is survived by his wife of 46 years, Pam. Three children: Sandy Bond (Scott), Becky Kersh and Melanie Robins (Chris). He also leaves behind a step-mother, Sue Flint; eight grandchildren: Danny Sellers III, Lauren Brunson, Katherine Brunson, Nick Love, Ethan Robins, Konner Robins, Raiden Robins and Natalie Robins. Three great grandchildren: Gracenn, Ryder and Maci.
Davis Ray was born on September 16, 1948. Davis Ray is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals. Davis Ray joined the Air Force, where he served his country proudly. He grew up in Mobile, the son of Davis L. and Faydelle Flint and has four siblings.
Davis Ray was a driven professional with an unmatched work ethic with his natural mechanical ability. He was an avid fisherman in his free time. He was very dedicated to the Lord and to his family and friends. Davis Ray received the best birthday gift anyone could ask for; Jesus welcoming him home.
When diagnosed with cancer in April 2019, Davis Ray was optimistic he would beat this cancer. He remained brave, even throughout his final days.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2019 on the grounds of Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spanish Fort, Alabama with Bro. Scott Howard officiating.
The family will be receiving guests for visitation Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, Alabama from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
