DeVaughn Harrison

DeVaughn Harrison - a native of Evergreen, AL and longtime resident of Saraland, AL passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 in a local hospital. He was a member of Central Church of Christ and was a Merchant Seaman for 43 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ausburn Harrison and Amy Francis Harrison; two sisters, Elizabeth Godwin and Alma Lampkin; and brother, Lamar Harrison. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Virginia Harrison; two sons, Danny Vaughn (Doreen) Harrison and Bruce Allan Harrison; two brothers, Carl and Earl Harrison; two sisters, Evelyn Gassler and Ann Cole; five grandchildren, DeLane (Jackie) Harrison, Clint (Dusty) Harrison, Austin, Alec and Logan Morgan; one great-grandchild, Elah Harrison; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, June 4, 2012, at 12 noon from Central Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
