Dianne Risner

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dianne Risner, a beloved sister and aunt, age 78, of Mobile, AL, who passed away on September 17, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. Risner and Margaret Hoffman Risner; her brothers-in-laws, Jackie G. Curtis and Joseph E. Johnson; and her nephew, Jason A. Curtis.

Dianne graduated from Bishop Toolen High School. Following her retirement from Hertz, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Dianne will be lovingly remembered by her four sisters: Charlotte Rodgers, Pam Johnson, Judy Curtis, and Sherry Wiese (Stephen); and her three brothers: Ronald Risner (Judy), John T. Risner (Debbie), and Paul Risner (Amy).

She had many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews whom she lovingly called her "babies."

She will be remembered for always spoiling her nieces and nephews and proudly bragging about them. She found joy in cooking for the people she loved and simply being surrounded by her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on September 22, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1400 Joyce Rd. Mobile, AL 36618 with the wake from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.

Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105 in Dianne’s honor.
