Donald Everette Lucas

Donald Everette Lucas, age 88, of Chickasaw, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Donald was born in Valentine, NE, on March 4, 1927. He served as an MP in the US Army in World War II where he was stationed in Italy. He retired in 1989 from International Paper Company where he worked as a machinist. Donald was married to Juanita on September 17, 1949; they were married 65 years. Donald was preceded in death by his daughter Rhonda Bridier (Gary) in 2013. He is survived by his wife, Juanita, and five children: Donald K Lucas (Margo), Diane Howell (Doug), Roger Lucas (Shelley), Sharon Lorino (Ty), Ramona Griffin (Charlie). He is also survived by his brother Walter Lucas, his sister Mary Holmes, 17 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Friday, July 17, from 5:00-8:00 pm. The funeral services will be held at the chapel in Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, July 18 at 1:00 pm. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
