Dorothy Elizabeth Tillman Owen -- Went home to her Heavenly Father on May 21, 2012, in Spring, Texas, after a prolonged illness. Dot was born in Eight Mile, Alabama on October 15, 1924, to Evander and Winnie Norwood Tillman. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Owen; her parents; and her sister, Mary Purser. Survivors include a brother, James M. Tillman of Spring, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a sister-in-law, Margaret Owen of Fairhope, Alabama. Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
