Douglas Edwin Ramaker

Douglas Edwin Ramaker - July 15, 1953 – January 5, 2017 at age of 63. Douglas was born in Pasadena, California and graduated from Pasadena High School in 1971. He joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served for over 25 years. He met and married his wife, Pamela, while in the service. He was a proud father of two sons, Clayton and Edwin. After his years of service he moved his family to Alabama and found work at Ford Lumber Company driving a truck and delivering lumber to construction sites around Mobile. He is survived by his father and stepmother Eugene and Judy, his wife and sons, sisters Debra Sheets and Diane Speer (Steve), a brother David Ramaker (Sylvia), stepbrother and stepsisters, nieces and nephews, cousins and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ramaker and brother, Dale Ramaker. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Saraland. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
