Eddie Ragland

Eddie Ragland – a 75 year-old native of Mobile, Alabama and longtime resident of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. He was a retired City of Prichard police officer and Mobile Airport Authority officer. Eddie was an avid hunter and fisherman, and an Alabama Crimson Tide and Nascar fan. He loved spending time with his family.

Eddie was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn Ragland; mother, Hattie Pugh Stauter; sister, Yvette Graves; and grandson, Hayden Phillips. He is survived by his children, Randy Fogle (Jennifer), Ashley Beard (Erich), Jesse Phillips (Misty), and Leah Ragland; seven grandchildren, Alexander Fogle, Jeremy Fogle (Desiree), Tabitha Fogle, Jenna Beard, Niviea Phillips, and Brody Phillips; three great-grandchildren, Allen Fogle, Roman Rust, and Rosalie Fogle; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Patriot Guard Riders.
