

Edward Lee Hall, a native of Spruce Pine, AL and a longtime resident of Saraland, died at home on Saturday, July 20, 2013. Ed was a longtime active member and Elder of the Central Church of Christ in Saraland. Mr. Hall and his wife were longtime owners and operators of A&W Root beer stand in Saraland. He also started Zippy Lube Car Wash in Saraland and was founder of Hallmont Homes Inc. along with his son Gaylon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Irene Hall. He is survived by four children, Gwen (Bill) Baldwin, Gaylon (Genae) Hall, Lynn (Mark) Barnett, Kenny (Jennifer) Hall; two brothers, Pete Hall and Paul Hall; twelve grandchildren, Edward (Yolanda) Baldwin, Shannon Baldwin (Greg) McWhorter, Will (Kylee) Baldwin, Mary-Frances Irene Baldwin, Lee (Susan) Hall, Jarod (Krista) Hall, Mark David Barnett, Daniel Barnett, Joseph Barnett, Dillon Hall, Austin Hall and Logan Hall; nine great grandchildren, Jack Gregory McWhorter, Samuel Baldwin McWhorter, Kate Shannon and Claire Manning McWhorter, Gabriella Rivers Baldwin, Hannah Hall, Katie Lee Hall, Larson Hall and Macey Hall and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the Central Church of Christ in Saraland on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 1 PM. Visitation will start at 12 noon. Burial will be in Forest Lawn
