Edwin Frank Singleton

Edwin Frank Singleton - a73 year-old resident of Eight Mile, Alabama passed away at his home on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Mr. Singleton retired from Miller Transporters as a mechanic after more than 30 years of service. He was a longtime round track and drag racer and evangelist who loved to travel. Above all else, he loved his family.

Mr. Singleton was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ella Mae Singleton, and 11 siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Dianne Singleton; children, Charlotte Jones (Ron), Anita Alford (Scott), and Chad Singleton; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
