October 7, 2020

As a small child growing up in Chickasaw, I remember making friends with Carol and Ann Reaves. Ann was 3, 4, or5 years older than me. Her mom was so cool and invited me to go riding around to let Ann practice driving. When I told her that I was not sure if my mother would
let me go ....... She Called My Mother!!!! Wow!!! She said that she would absolutely love to have me go riding around!!!!! Do you know how great that made me feel!!!! I'm 66years old and I still remember this like it was last night. Ann got to drive throughout all of Alabama Village until about 2:00in the morning. Mrs. Reaves laughed and played around with us. It was so awesome!!! After that I spent many afternoons sitting on the front porch with her. May you rest in peace Mrs Reaves I'll always remember and love you!!!
