Elisha Cleo "Sonny" Davis, Jr. passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. He was born August 11, 1925, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and was a longtime resident of Chickasaw, Alabama. Sonny attended Tuscaloosa High School, served in the United States Navy, and was a veteran of World War II and Korea. He worked for National Cash Register Company for more than 38 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Moseley Davis; his mother, Valeria Price Davis; and his father, Elisha Cleo Davis, Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Joyce Davis Pate (Bryan); granddaughter, Stephanie Pate Prater (Robert); a great grandson, Davis Cunningham Prater; brother, M. L. Davis (Gwen); sister, Elizabeth Davis Elrod; first cousin, Emma Lee Senna; and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 18, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, Alabama, on Monday, from 12:30 p.m. until the 1:30 p.m. procession to the cemetery
