Eloise Enter Clubbs peacefully entered her heavenly home on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born in Georgetown, South Carolina, on May 30, 1942, to the late Edward Lee Enter and Mary Ruth.
Eloise was married to the late Bennett A. Clubbs for 15 years. In 1982, they relocated to Chickasaw, AL. Eloise was widely recognized for her steadfast faith in Christ, her deep love for family, and her dedication to her community.
She was a devoted member of Chickasaw United Methodist Church, where she actively served on the Finance Committee, chaired the Guilders Circle, and coordinated activities for senior adults. Eloise organized numerous outings and dinners, enriching the lives of many in her church community.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bennett A. Clubbs, and siblings May Elizabeth Brandon, Susan Enter Lee, and Edward Ira Enter. Eloise is survived by her children, Richard Skipper of Grand Bay, AL, and Michael (Lynette) Skipper Sr. of Semmes, AL. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Michael (Hallie) Skipper Jr., Kayla (Kevin) Beebout, Nathan (Mary Claire) Skipper, Ashleigh (Bradley) York, Courtney (Matt) Tillman, Heather (Bradley) Collier, and Tiffany Britt, as well as fifteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to honor Eloise's life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Chickasaw United Methodist Church, located at 108 Lee St., Chickasaw, AL 36611. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Dave Rhodes.
