She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie G. Hovell ,Sr. and parents Luddie and Lettie Goldman Martin.
Survivors include her children Charles G. (Gwen) Hovell, Jr. of Calvert, AL., Virginia Hovell of Satsuma, Al., Deborah Hovell and Kelli Hovell Stephens of Satsuma, AL. He brothers and sisters Marie (Jim) Hovell and Daisy Stitcher of Saraland, Al, Eleanor (Glen) Williams of Foley, Al, Eddie Perkins (Shirley) of Axis, AL. Leroy (Emma) Perkins of St. Stephens, AL. and sister in law Loraine Perkins of Lucedale, MS. Along with 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Calvert Baptist Church at 2:00pm on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.pm. Visitation at church will be from 1:00pm until time of service. Burial to follow in Calvert Memorial Cemetery.
