Esther Ramsay Johnson - A native of Northport, AL and a resident of Mobile for the past 60 years, died Friday, November 12, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Johnson retired from the Mobile Infirmary and was a wonderful seamstress and quilt maker. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Troy Alton Cook, Sr. and James Willard Johnson. Survivors include five children, Sue (Travis) Braddock, James Huey (Ruby) Johnson, Larry (Judy) Johnson, Troy Alton (Posey) Cook, Jr., and Beulah (Raymond) Wassman; one sister, Estelle Culwell; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grand-children; three great, great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Monday, November 15, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
