Etta Ann Parnell

Etta Ann Parnell – an 85 year-old native of Chatom, Alabama and resident of Semmes passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. She was a longtime seamstress and former owner of Ann’s Nursery. Mrs. Parnell was a wonderful cook who loved everyone she met, especially babies, whom she considered all her angels.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Harvison and Elizabeth Ann Baxter Harvison; husband of 56 years, Mack Parnell; son, Cary Parnell; brothers Clinton Harvison, Alexander (Alex) Harvison, Robert (Bobby) Harvison, Aaron Harvison and grandchildren, Jessica Eastburn and Joel Jones.

Mrs. Parnell is survived by two children, Donnie Parnell (Deborah) and Wanda Parnell (David Haggerty); daughter-in-law Virginia Parnell; 4 siblings, Zelma Havard, Mary Marshall, Tony Harvison (Cindy), and Mitchell Harvison (Malinda); 5 grandchildren, Wayne Parnell (Shannon), Steve Parnell (Amy), Jeremy Parnell (Pam), Jana Frederiksen, and Amanda Harris (Thomas); 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.

After the interment, family and friends are welcome to return to Wanda Parnell's home- 741 Oxford Way, Mobile, Alabama 36695.
