Evelyn Ruth Bramblett Eady – a 95 year-old native of Helena, Alabama and longtime resident of Satsuma passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 09, 2016. Mrs. Eady was a former employee of Herb’s Laundromat and the Saraland Post Office. She was a member of the C.B. Club where she had the handle “Lady Sparkplug” and was also a volunteer with Mercy Medical. Mrs. Eady was a charter member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Nelda Kinman Bramblett; first husband, Webster Lee Eady; second husband, Samuel Alfred Eady; children, Dianne Brown and Paul Eady; and brother, John Bramblett. Mrs. Eady is survived by her grandchildren, Paula Upthagrove (Stacey), Tony Brown (Roxanne), and Amanda Hall (Mark); great-grandchildren, Ryan Brown, Isabel Hall, and Christopher Hall; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Friday, November 11, 2016, from 9-10 a.m. Graveside services and interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-saraland.com.
