Faye Curtis Bell

Faye Curtis Bell – born March 1, 1933, died at home on August 30, 2011, following a lengthy illness. She was welcomed into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, and we now rejoice because she is healed. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Bell; two devoted and loving daughters, Jana Phillips (Joey) and Lori Welch (Terry). She was also blessed with four grandchildren who loved their Nana: Adam and Kendall Phillips, and Maisie and Ana Welch. Also honoring her memory are brother, Jackie (Judy) Curtis, and Sister, Levita Corbin; two nephews, Jason (Kari) Curtis and Jeffrey Curtis; and one great-niece, Alex Curtis. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Saraland, on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 11 A.M. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. She taught children’s Sunday school for many years at Bayou Sara Baptist Church and was a blessing to so many, selflessly giving to anyone in need. The family also wishes to thank our extended family who have provided so many hours of love and compassion, Carrie Laroqueturgeau, Amanda Roberts, Gracie Soleyn, Bobbie Thomas, and Kathy Easter.
