Frances Irene Thomas, age 79, of Chickasaw, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. Frances was born September 30, 1941 in Mobile, AL. Frances was a beloved member of Shelton Beach Rd Baptist Church. She loved gospel music, making homemade crafts for her family and trying new recipes.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents Dutch and Verge Alfred, brother Eugene Alford and a nephew Junior Maples. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Alfred Thomas, daughter, Mary (Richard) Miller, son Tony (Melissa) Thomas, son Larry (Pat) Thomas, daughter Betty (Andy) Weaver and daughter Cathy Thomas. Sister Flora (Joe) Maples, brother Gary Alford and sister Debbie (Dewayne) Burguart. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for Frances will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Shelton Beach Road Baptist Church, 401 Shelton Beach Road, Saraland, AL 36571, followed by a funeral service fat 10:00 AM.
