She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alice Sheffield; daughters, Rebecca Chestang and Dellie Mae Weaver; and son, Larry Weaver.
Mrs. Shaw is survived by a daughter, Sally (B.B.) Weaver; son, William (Kathy) Hollis; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great, great-grandchildren; on God daughter, Lynn Cordelle; brothers, Perry Sheffield and Jackie (Bridgette) Sheffield; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held from the Simple House of Prayer in Mount Vernon on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Monday, November 4, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Byrd Cemetery in Mount Vernon.
